The aim of the workshop is to bring into contact scientists from mathematics, theoretical and experimental physics, engineering and geophysics all working with different perspectives on Lagrangian Transport in Turbulent Flows. Bridging ideas from one field to the other, we intend to stimulate new interdisciplinary approaches to this rich and challenging subject. Indeed there is an urgent need to clarify both fundamental aspects of physical phenomena and their modelization.
The purpose of this workshop is to give an important contribution in the comprehension of Lagrangian dynamics, improve our knowledge on modelization, and apply this knowledge to practical problems.Partecipation is under invitation only.
