Active semiflexible polymer under shear flow |
The dynamic behavior of a self-propelled semiflexible filament of length L is con- sidered under the action of a linear shear flow. The system is studied by using Brownian multi-particle collision dynamics. The system can be characterized in terms of the persistence length Lp of the chain, of the…

A comparison result in anisotropic elliptic problems via symmetrization |
We establish a comparison result for solutions to nonlinear fully anisotropic elliptic problems by means of anisotropic symmetrization. As consequence we deduce a priori estimates for norms of the relevant solutions.

Embeddings of Fractional Orlicz-Sobolev Spaces into Campanato type Spaces |
An optimal embedding theorem for fractional Orlicz-Sobolev spaces into Orlicz spaces will be surveyed. A new embedding for the same fractional spaces into generalized Campanato spaces will be also presented. This is a joint work, in progress, with Andrea Cianchi, Lubos Pick and Lenka Slavikova. |
